On Thursday of Proclaimers Place II participants break for a time of fellowship around coffee and tea. Not the least part of Proclaimers Place is the networking among pastors and the establishment of new lifetime friendships. There is something about the Oxford experience that lingers far beyond the days at Oxford. The studies shared, the quarters inhabited, the rooms used, the history experienced and the fellowship established last for beyond the four days of the conference.
Conversations about preaching and ministry begin before the formal sessions and go long after them, sometimes over dinner and beyond. The atmosphere of the university, the many bookstores and thoughtful institutions, lend themselves to continued thought beyond the seminar itself.
